Field Service Engineer. M1, Manchester, Northern Region. £36,000 - £40,000 + Car or Allowance + Wider Benefits (Door to door pay, paid overtime, overall pay in excess of £50,000)

* Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer or similar.

* Working for a UK subsidiary of a highly successful multinational group, the role will focus on leading the testing, service of complex capital plant projects at customer sites. Route cause analysis of large electro-mechanical machinery.

* Excellent opportunity for an engineer with exposure to service, testing & commissioning within capital plant, capital machinery or someone who has worked within a similar area.

* Roughly £35,000 - £40,000 + Car or Car Allowance + Wider company benefits. You get paid door to door and for lunch breaks, as well as paid overtime so overall pay in excess of £50,000. Site work mainly across the North of England. You will need a full UK driving license and be happy with travel and working autonomously.

This Field Service Engineer job will suit:

* Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer or similar – you will be accustomed to travelling to customer manufacturing sites across the UK (This will mainly be North of England.

* Technically astute (Mechanical / Electrical split), Good knowledge of Manufacturing & Production machinery – specifically capital equipment, HVAC, industrial booths, pumps, conveyors, or related systems.

* You could work in a related industry; Automotive, Food & Process, Oil & Gas, Chemical or similar.

* Strong leadership and communication skills – you will need to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders – onsite colleagues, sub contractors, customers etc.

* Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering knowledge – qualifications or experience working in a technical role.

* Able to travel to customer sites – full UK driving license.
