The Company:
An exciting opportunity for an Estimating Manager / Pre-Construction Manager to join a Contractor in the Northampton area. As a major UK contractor my client has a diversified workload. Boasting a strong reputation for providing high standards of project delivery, and an ability to innovate.

My client enjoys a turnover of c£35 million with plans and pipeline to reach c£45 million by the end of 2025 out of the Northampton area with projects ranging from £2 Mil - £40 Mil.

My client would also highly consider a Senior Estimator and/or Bid Manager who is ready to step up into a more senior role.

About The Role:
As the Estimating Manager / Pre-Construction Manager you will play an integral role in tendering and winning work in the Midlands area alongside:
• Creating and understanding specifications.
• Building relationships with clients.
• Being responsible for the Estimating / Pre-Construction Team.
• To lead and manage internal Estimating / Pre-Construction meetings, ensuring each enquiry is assigned to an estimator, taking notes & ensuring actions are completed by the required dates.
• Overseeing and checking of all tenders before submissions, ensuring they are accurate, fully considered & well-presented meeting the client’s expectations.
• Reporting and working closely with the Director.

About You:
• Experience presenting quotes and specifications to clients.
• Great technical knowledge.
• Experience with Local Authority and Highways (Not Essential).
• Live in a commutable distance to Northampton.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience within Estimating.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The individual will be highly self-motivated with the ability to work alone or within a team.
