Gate / Barrier Engineer (North)

Door-to-door, £40,000 - £45,000 per annum + 1.5x OT

Eagle Automation is a market leader in the supply and service of high security gates, barriers and access control systems. Due to year-on-year growth Eagle are seeking gate and barrier engineers with an electromechanical background with some experience in a service and maintenance role. Engineers will remain within territory for the North, with very occasional trips to HQ in Essex.

Responsibilities of the Gates & Barrier Engineer

* Repair and Maintenance of a wide range of automated security products (sliding gates, hinged gate barriers, blockers, bollards, and control panels etc.)

* Installation of new or replacement products, where required.

* Diagnostics and repair of equipment

* Systems testing and reporting

* Assist with help growing the business by proactively visiting clients and sites, to offer our services.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience

* Hydraulic and electro-mechanical experience is required (you must have an electromechanical background and ideally hold a relevant qualification in either mechanical, electrical or electronics.

* Experience within a remote and site based role.

* Strong technical background with the ability to fault find, diagnose and carry out repairs.

* Excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written.

* Full drivers licence with less than 6 points

* Flexible approach to work - willing to travel within your designated area and rarely, further afield to support the business requirements.
