Domestic Gas Engineer - Progression to Commercial

£38k-£45k Basic Salary (neg depending on experience) + Company Van & Fuel + Pension + Benefits

Location: Dartford / Gravesend

Alecto Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking a Qualified Gas Engineer and to join a leading and award-winning client of ours within the Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing and Heating sector.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who lives local to the South East London / Kent area and with good access into London and within the M25. Therefore, areas such around Dartford or Gravesend would suit well however we are flexible for the right person.

Opportunity for training into Commercial Gas in the future, therefore an excellent opportunity for a Domestic Gas Engineer who wants to progress.

Job Role:

Working as a Gas Engineer, you'll be responsible for a mixture of servicing, repair and breakdown work, along with some minor installation work.
Our client work with private domestic customers, landlords, as well as some commercial premises such as Offices, Retail, Educational etc.
Full-time employed position - Monday to Friday, 40 hour week as standard.
Form part of a call out rota which is 1 in 6.

Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience working as a Gas Engineer
Strong installation, service and repair experience and working on a range of domestic gas, boiler and heating systems
Domestic ACS gas tickets are essential, such as; CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 etc.
Experience with some minor plumbing work would also be beneficial
Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Package on offer:

Competitive basic salary and open to negotiation depending on experience - up to roughly £45k Base
