Salary: £38,000 per annum

Location: North Lincolnshire

Hours: Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Mechanic / Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic to join our team in Gateshead. As a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Mechanic / Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HGV trailers at various customer locations. You will ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards while providing excellent service to customers.

Responsibilities of a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Mechanic / Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic: 

Carry out inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
Diagnose and resolve faults using EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
Complete compliance documentation accurately and efficiently
Provide high-quality customer service while working to deadlines
Follow health and safety regulations at all times
Participate in ongoing technical training, including IRTEC, tail lift, and axle/brake system training
Essential Skills and Experience for Mobile HGV Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Mechanic / Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic:

Experience working with HGV trailers or heavy vehicles
Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification in HGV maintenance
Desirable Skills and Experience for Mobile HGV Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Technician / Mobile Trailer Mechanic / Mobile HGV Trailer Mechanic:

HGV Class 1 licence
IRTEC accreditation
Experience with EBS diagnostics (Knorr Bremse, Haldex, WABCO)
Welding certification
Training or experience with BPW, SAF, or JOST axle manufacturers
Tail lift maintenance experience
Experience with double deck or lifting deck systems
