Paralegal - Family and Litigation
(Full-Time, Office-Based - Maidstone)
A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated and client-focused Paralegal to join its busy Family and Dispute Resolution departments. This is a full-time, office-based position located in Maidstone, offering a great opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Attending client meetings and preparing detailed notes
Opening and closing files in compliance with regulatory requirements
Drafting legal documents, including applications and witness statements
Time recording and assisting with billing processes
Preparing and managing correspondence with clients and third parties
Preparing electronic court bundles and booking counsel
Conducting legal research and general administrative support
Assisting fee earners with day-to-day tasks as requiredEssential Skills & Experience:
Qualifying law degree or a minimum of 2 years' experience as a paralegal
Strong administrative and organisational abilities with keen attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro
Experience using case management systems
Solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and Family Procedure Rules
Professional telephone manner and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressureWhat's on Offer:
