We are currently hiring Cover Supervisors for various secondary schools in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are confident, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting young people in a school environment.
You will be working with a dedicated team where you can support children’s education in a supportive environment
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising classes during teacher absences
Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students stay on task
Managing classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies
Providing general support to departments and assisting with cover as needed
Who We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (preferred but not required)
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Ability to be adaptable and confident when working independently
A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting learning

Schools in Salford and surrounding areas are seeking additional supply teachers to ensure they have a continuous workforce. They are easily accessible with access from surrounding areas via the M62, A580, M66 and A56. For non-drivers, the schools can be accessed by a number of public transport links from surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
