The Best Connection are recruiting on behalf of our manufacturing client seeking an experienced Estimator to support accurate and competitive pricing for customer tenders and quotations. Based in the Wolverhampton area with excellent local transport connections, this is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing business.

The Role

Working closely with Account Managers and internal teams, you will be responsible for interpreting customer requirements and producing timely, commercially sound estimates. You will assess production routes, materials, outwork, and transport costs to ensure pricing is accurate and competitive.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and present detailed estimates for customer tenders and quotations
Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routes within Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
Evaluate production methods, materials, outwork, and logistics costs
Support procurement activities with accurate costing data
Analyse end-of-job costings to improve future pricing accuracy
Work collaboratively with sales, production, and operations teamsAbout You

Proven experience in an estimating or costing role
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicator, able to work closely with internal teams
Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and Excel is desirable
Background in print manufacturing or technical knowledge of production machinery is an advantageWhat We Offer
