Advance Your Clinical Practice – Move Into a Structured, Specialist Assessment Role Are you an experienced adult healthcare clinician seeking a clinical position that allows you to apply your diagnostic reasoning, patient interaction skills, and evidence-based assessment approach — without the shift work, caseload pressure or treatment delivery?
This is a clinical evaluation and reporting role, supporting service users with a broad range of long-term physical, neurological, sensory, and mental health conditions. You'll work within a framework of functional and capability-based assessments, using a biopsychosocial model to evaluate how a person’s condition affects their daily activities and functional capacity.

Who This Role Is Designed For This opportunity is strictly for adult-registered clinicians who meet the professional and clinical experience criteria.
You must hold active registration with one of the following regulators:
NMC – RGN, RN, RNLD, RMN (Adult-Registered Only)
HCPC – Registered Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Paramedics, or Pharmacists
Applicants must reside within commuting distance of Ashford, Chatham, Canterbury, or Hastings.
We are unable to offer sponsorship or consider unregistered healthcare professionals. What You’ll Be Doing – Clinical Summary of Role As a Clinical Functional Assessment Specialist, you will:
Undertake structured, evidence-based consultations to explore the functional impact of complex health conditions
Apply your clinical expertise and professional judgment to assess physical, mental, and cognitive limitations
Perform evaluations via remote (telephone/video) methods and periodic in-person assessments at your local centre
Interpret a range of clinical evidence, including diagnostic history, pharmacological interventions, and management strategies
Deliver objective, high-quality medical reports that detail how a claimant’s condition impacts their function and activities of daily living
Contribute to public health and social support systems, enabling appropriate care and benefits through expert clinical input This is not a treatment or triage role — your clinical focus is on functional assessment and professional opinion, grounded in patient interaction, critical thinking, and evidence review.
Clinical Skills Required You must demonstrate:
Minimum 12 months of active NMC/HCPC registration (Adult-Registered only)
Minimum 1 full year of recent, hands-on clinical experience in adult health (e.g. medical, surgical, community, urgent care, mental health, or neuro settings)
Excellent clinical reasoning, history-taking, and functional evaluation skills
Strong written and verbal communication – you must be able to produce clear, logical, and defensible clinical reports
High level of IT competence – this role requires confident use of electronic medical records and assessment tools Why Make the Move?
