A high-achieving boys’ grammar school in Salisbury is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Modern Foreign Languages Department in a school that values academic rigour, traditional scholarship, and global awareness.
The Role
As a Spanish Teacher, you will:

Teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 to 5, including GCSE and A-Level
*
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support strong student outcomes
*
Promote fluency, accuracy, and cultural understanding through varied and dynamic teaching methods
*
Support students' development in spoken and written Spanish with clear and constructive feedback
*
Participate in departmental planning and contribute to curriculum development
*
Engage with extracurricular opportunities, including language clubs, trips, and exchanges
Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
*
Hold a good honours degree in Spanish or a closely related subject
*
Possess a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE with QTS or equivalent)
*
Have experience teaching Spanish at KS3–KS5, ideally in an academically selective environment
*
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a clear passion for language teaching
*
Be an excellent communicator with strong classroom presence and organisational skills
*
Show commitment to ongoing professional development and the wider life of the school
*
Be fluent or near-fluent in Spanish, with the ability to model authentic language use
