Your role as a Biology ECT will include:

Teaching engaging Biology lessons across KS3 and KS4, with potential to explore KS5

Bringing biology to life through practical investigations and inquiry-based learning

Working alongside a highly collaborative team with strong departmental leadership

Monitoring and supporting student progress through effective assessment and feedback
*
Contributing to a positive and academically focused classroom environment
*
Participating in school-wide CPD and progression planning as part of your ECT years
*
Involvement in extra-curricular STEM events, workshops, or Science Week

Demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to grow professionally
To be considered for the Biology ECT role, you will:

Be completing a PGCE or equivalent training in 2025 and hold a degree in a life science subject
*
Be passionate about biology education and enthusiastic about your subject
*
Have a clear understanding of how to support student progress and wellbeing
*
Be a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
