Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced CDM Co-ordinator to join a leading construction and infrastructure company, on a 7-month contract basis. Within this role, you will be required to work on a remote basis, attending one of our client's regional offices, nationwide, 1 day a week. As the successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to act as 'Principal Design Representative - Delivery', within a large-scale National Grid project.
-Competitive day rate of £600-£620 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:
-Act as the client's and principal designer's lead by ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are transparent, clear, and being followed accurately.
-Conduct and attend Principal Designer meetings and Pre-Construction Information (PCI) reviews.
-Manage and oversee the design works throughout the project's lifespan, ensuring that the workforce all comply with health and safety procedures effectively.
-Collaborate with the Principal Contractor to share and discuss information centred around the planning, monitoring, and management of the construction stage.
-Direct and oversee Hazard Review Meetings (HRMs), whilst maintaining concise up-to-date records and documentation within the project hazard register.
Requirements:
-Extensive experience as a CDM Coordinator or Principal Designer on mid to large-scale National Grid projects.
-Solid understanding of CDM 2015 regulations, health and safety legislation, and industry best practices.
-Strong ability to review design documents, hazard registers, method statements, and risk assessments.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, designers, and regulators.
-Must have a relevant health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH) and must be committed to ongoing professional development.
-Highly organised with strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under limited deadlines
