A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Design & Technology Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in the Andover area. Starting in September 2025, this full-time role covers a range of Technology subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for a Lead Teacher of Technology position for an experienced and ambitious candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across KS3 and KS4
Teach across a range of technology disciplines (Product Design, Resistant Materials, Food Technology, Graphics, etc.)
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity and innovation
Monitor, assess, and support student progress through differentiated teaching
Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental improvement
Support or lead extracurricular technology clubs and projects
Play a full role in the school community and enrichment initiatives
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
A degree in Design & Technology, Food Technology, Product Design, or a related subject
Experience teaching DT at Key Stages 3 and 4
Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of curriculum developments
Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
A passion for encouraging creativity, independence, and technical skills in students
Ambition to lead and develop the DT department (for those interested in the Lead Teacher role)
