Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - SEN

Pay: £14-£16 per hour
Location: Flexible / In-person
Hours: Part-time, flexible

Catch Up Academy is looking for a Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting children and young people with SEN, particularly speech, language, and communication needs.

The Role

Support learners alongside a teacher or tutor

Help students access learning, remain regulated, and build confidence

Reinforce learning activities set by the tutor/teacher

Promote independence and positive behaviour

Essential Requirements

Experience supporting children with SEN

Patient, calm, adaptable

Good communication skills

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Desirable

Experience with Speech and Language needs

Background in education, care, or SEN support
