Our client in Worksop is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join their team at their Worksop factory.
You will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, ensuring all safety protocols are followed, and continuously driving improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver daily activity briefings, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Regularly monitor the health and well being of the team..
• Act as a role model for productivity, managing break times and shift schedules effectively
• Report on successes and areas for improvement.
• Provide performance feedback, identifying talent, and supporting team members in their development.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:
• Proven experience as a team leader in a workforce environment,
• Strong knowledge of risk assessments, method statements, and health & safety protocols.
• IOSH Managing Safely Level 3 (or equivalent) is essential.
• Experience with accident/incident investigations and management of occupational health risks.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
Skills Required:
• Computer literate
• Experience in writing RAMS and ensuring the team are following them
• Comfortable and confident in briefing the team and putting them to work effectively each day
• Flexible shift working and willing to work overtime where needed
Pay will be dependant on experience and the position is offered on a temp to perm basis
