GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
Location: Hampshire
Salary £75,000 - £85,000
Salary: depending on experience
Holiday: 23 days (plus Bank Holidays) increasing by 1 day per year up to 25 days
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious fully-qualified accountant with a proven track record in running a finance function. You will be willing to take a hands on approach, with a view to growing the finance team and processes.
Key duties for the Group Financial Controller :
* - Managing the day-to-day finance function for the Hotel Group with the finance team
* - Production of monthly management accounts, annual budgets and rolling forecasts
* - Analysis of variances between actual and forecasted/budgeted performance
* - Develop and maintain sound financial controls and processes
* - Production of daily and weekly sales/wages/P&L reporting
* - Produce and transmit the monthly payroll via payroll bureau.
* - Management of the annual audit process
* - Ensure the company complies with statutory requirements, including the submission of VAT returns.
* - Support the Group CFO and Company Managing Director with ad hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications and experience required of the Group Financial Controller:
* - ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
* - Previous experience in a similar role
* - Strong Excel skills
* - Accounts Package - Sage200
