Job Title: Primary SEND Teaching Assistant
Location: Various Primary Schools 
Start Date: Immediate

PK Education are currently working in partnership with a large number of primary schools who are seeking Primary SEND Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants for immediate starts.

We are looking for dedicated, patient, and proactive individuals to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across a range of primary school settings.

The Role:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND

Supporting children with EHCPs across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and learning activities

Implementing strategies to support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development

Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience working in UK primary schools (essential)

Experience supporting children with SEND (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD)

Team Teach training is highly desirable

Confident managing behaviour and supporting pupils with additional needs

Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different school environments

Holds or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS on the Update Service
