Kitchen Production Manager – Premium Bespoke Meal Manufacturing
We’re working with a premium bespoke meal manufacturing business on a mission to deliver exceptional, made-to-measure nutrition to thousands of customers across London. With a fully tailored approach, every meal plan is designed around each individual’s goals and macro needs — supported by a dedicated in-house nutritionist to ensure clients stay on track to smash their targets.
Due to continued growth and major investment in their Northwest London site, they’re looking for a hands-on, quality-driven Kitchen Production Manager to lead their chef-led production team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary-led Production Manager or ambitious Sous Chef to take a senior leadership role in a business that’s reinventing how people eat well.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee a team of 25+ chefs in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and consistently high production standards.
* Implement and maintain robust SOPs that prioritise food safety, consistency, and premium quality.
* Develop and manage detailed daily and weekly production plans, ensuring alignment with client nutrition plans and order volumes.
* Drive a culture of excellence, motivating your team to take pride in every dish prepared.
* Collaborate closely with senior leadership to introduce new, innovative processes that increase efficiency and output.
* Monitor and manage kitchen performance, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring KPIs are met.
* Lead initiatives to reduce food waste and improve sustainability throughout the kitchen operations.
* Collaborate closely with Operations, Nutrition, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless service
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience as a Production Manager within food manufacturing, ideally with a culinary background
* Sous Chef ready to step up into a senior, leadership-driven operational role
* Confident leadership skills with the ability to guide, develop, and inspire teams.
* Excellent organisational skills, with a hands-on and proactive management style.
* Experience in process improvement, production planning, and waste reduction.
