Bid Manager
At Willmott Dixon Interiors, we're seeking an experienced Bid Manager known as a Project Manager (Preconstruction) to join our team. As a key player, you'll drive project success from Pre-Construction Services Agreement (PCSA) to financial close, ensuring timely, budgeted, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Preconstruction Leadership: Manage the preconstruction process for large/complex projects, leading cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project progression. Manage the production of accurate, well presented bid documentation for tenders.
Project Strategy: Develop and execute project strategies aligned with customer needs and company goals.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the preconstruction phase.
Commercial Management: Ensure projects are delivered within budget, maximizing profitability while meeting contractual obligations.
Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and stakeholder management. Create and lead client presentations.Our projects range from £5m to £25m+ and span across diverse sectors, including Commercial, Blue Light, Leisure, Retail, Education, Defence and Health.
Requirements
Essential Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Expert knowledge of bid processes
Excellent resource planning and written/spoken English skillsDesirable Skills:
Construction industry knowledge
APM/PRINCE2 or similar qualifications
MCIOB/RICS membership or equivalentAttributes we are looking for
