This role could be working either full time or 28-30 hours per week over 3 days or ideally 4 days per week.
Full time - 9:00am - 5:00pm
Part Time - 9:00am - 3:30pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm 4 days per week, 3 days per week may be considered for 28 hours, for the perfect person!
This hands-on and incredibly varied accounts role will be supporting the finance manager in the day-to-day processing of purchases and payments, working within a small accounts team.
The Role:
Managing all aspects of purchase ledger
Raising purchase orders via Sage 50
Processing Invoices, credit card receipts
Scanning Receipts and filling documents
Bank reconciliations.
Maintaining the aged creditors and dealing with queries
Creating and processing weekly & monthly payment runs for the finance manager
Supporting the Finance manager with Month End and Year End routines
Credit Control
Training is available for the right person in order to complete month-end accounts
General administration to include booking accommodation and managing the order supply chain/ purchasingThe Person:
Proven accounts experience in a similar accounts role
Good attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to react to meet demands and deadlines
Computer literacy, especially familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software such as Sage 50, Sage One or other similar accounts software
Experience of CIS returns within the construction industry is advantageous
Multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills
Reliable and Self-MotivatedWe are looking for someone with experience in a similar hands-on accounts role that with excellent communication skills.
Our client is paying a basic salary of £33,000 - £37,000 full time equivalent depending on experience, with a swift interview and start date available!
