SEN Teacher – Ipswich
Full-Time | Immediate Start | Long-Term Role
Location: Ipswich
Contract: Ongoing, with potential for permanent placement
Teach is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive special educational needs school in Ipswich. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who is committed to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children with additional needs.
The Role:
You will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Creating and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
* Managing classroom behaviour in a positive and supportive way
* Working collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and the SENCO
* Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
* Creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
* Experience teaching pupils with special educational needs
* A nurturing, flexible, and creative approach to teaching
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one via Teach
