Plant Operator – Block Plant
Location: Widnes
Salary: £32,878 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week (potential to work up to 48 hours when needed)
Shifts: Rotating weekly – 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00

We’re looking for a Plant Operator to join our team! If you’re hardworking, a team player, and have experience in a manufacturing or production environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Operating sections of the production line, ensuring smooth running and quality control

* Carrying out observations, tests, and assessments to maintain product standards

* Removing and replacing sub-standard products

* Replenishing packaging materials

* Performing minor maintenance tasks

* Cleaning down equipment at the end of production

* Completing basic paperwork (quality control forms, production records, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

* A good team player with strong communication skills

* A keen work ethic and attention to detail

* A current FLT licence (beneficial but not essential)

* Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling, working at heights, and using hand tools

* Willingness to wear PPE, including respiratory protective equipment when required
