Teaching Assistant - Surrey - Start ASAP or September 2025

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for secondary schools in Surrey. This full-time, term-time-only role is perfect for someone passionate about education and eager to support students in reaching their full potential.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work alongside teachers to provide classroom support, assist with learning activities, and offer one-to-one or small group interventions. Whether you're experienced or just starting out, we welcome applicants who are committed, reliable, and eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners.

This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, or those with relevant childcare or education backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons

Working with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning

Assisting with classroom preparation and behaviour management

Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people (in any setting)

Enthusiasm, patience, and a proactive attitude

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
