Teaching Assistant – Blackburn Summer Term | £13.75–£15.00 per hour | Mainstream Primary School
We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Blackburn for the Summer Term. This role offers the chance to support pupils across the classroom while also working closely with the SENCO to help meet SEND requirements.
About the Role
Support teaching and learning across the classroom as a general TA
Work collaboratively with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning experiences
Provide targeted support to pupils with SEND under the guidance of the SENCO
Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and behaviour support
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

Experience working in a primary school setting
A patient, proactive, and supportive approach
Confidence in supporting children with a range of needs
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
