Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead all operational and manufacturing functions at PC Henderson. Reporting to the Operations Director, the role covers production, supply chain (goods in/out), planning, purchasing, and SHEQ compliance. The primary focus is to drive operational performance, efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate teams across manufacturing, distribution, and planning to deliver high performance.
Oversee and streamline production and logistics processes for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and coach employees to meet safety, quality, and environmental targets.
Ensure alignment of operations with broader business goals.Skills & Experience Required:
Proven leadership and team development skills.
Strong background in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and process improvement.
Experienced in Lean, Six Sigma, WMS, ERP systems, and H&S compliance.
Commercially and financially aware, with strong strategic thinking and change management capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
