Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOE

Responsibilities

As an Air Quality Consultant, you will:

Conduct air dispersion modeling with a focus on road traffic developments.
Analyze and interpret data to assess air quality impacts and provide actionable insights.
Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices, ensuring compliance with IAQM guidelines.
Support the development of strategies to improve air quality and reduce environmental impact.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will need:

1-2 years of experience in air quality consultancy or a related field.
Proven hands-on experience with air dispersion modeling, particularly road traffic models.
Membership with the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM).
A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day might include:

Running air dispersion models to assess the impact of road traffic on air quality.
Collaborating with colleagues and clients to develop tailored solutions for specific projects.
Attending CPD training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to stakeholders.
Contributing to the development of innovative strategies to improve air quality.
