Location: Rhydycar Business Park, Merthyr Tydfil, CF48 1DL

Start Date: ASAP                                               

Contract Duration: 5+ Month

Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week

Pay Rate: £ 13.69 per hour

Job Responsibilities

Support the daily operations of the business and conference centre.

Set up conference and training facilities.

Perform reception duties to ensure smooth centre operations.

Provide front-line support for centre users.

Assist with conference and training suite operations.

Help with catering services as needed.

Address facilities issues in collaboration with tenants and staff.

Conduct regular building inspections.

Perform minor cleaning tasks as required.

Support other civic properties when possible.

Follow Health & Safety policies.

Participate in decarbonization efforts to achieve net-zero emissions.

Handle cash transactions.

Person Specifications

Must Have

Ability to support daily operations and assist in various tasks.

Strong communication skills for face-to-face interactions.

Willingness to perform cleaning and minor maintenance.

Ability to handle cash responsibly.

Nice to Have

Experience in a business or conference centre environment.

Familiarity with Health & Safety practices.

Interest in sustainability and decarbonization initiatives.
