About the Role:
We are seeking a confident, reliable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team in Doncaster. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys working with young people. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students in the absence of the classroom teacher across a variety of subjects.

Deliver pre-set lesson plans and ensure students stay on task.

Maintain classroom discipline in line with school policies.

Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behavior.

Support the wider school community where required.

Requirements:

Experience working with young people (preferably in a school setting).

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Confidence and the ability to engage with secondary-age students.

A proactive and flexible approach to work.

Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.

Desirable:

Degree-level education or working towards a career in teaching.

Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
