Job Title: Industrial Disease Solicitor
Location: Berkshire (Hybrid)

About the Role:
On behalf of our respected client - a well-established law firm with a strong reputation in claimant work - we are seeking an Industrial Disease Solicitor to join their specialist team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated legal professional with solid experience in Industrial Disease claims to take the next step in their career within a supportive and reputable practice.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage your own caseload of moderate value Industrial Disease claims, acting for claimants and providing a first-class client service.
Support senior solicitors and partners on complex, high-value cases.
Investigate and apply medical evidence within the context of Industrial Disease matters to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
Ensure compliance with procedural and funding guidelines while delivering high-quality, profitable work.
Develop sound financial management of files, including WIP, disbursements, billing, and profitability targets.
Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements.
Undertake any other relevant duties as required by management.

About You:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

A current, valid Practising Certificate with no restrictions.
1-3 years' post-qualification experience managing a claimant caseload in Industrial Disease.
Experience in asbestos-related disease (including mesothelioma), NIHL, and HAVS claims is highly desirable.
A strong academic record and a good understanding of litigation processes.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client care skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to exercise initiative.
High standards of professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
Sound business awareness and commitment to meeting targets and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and solicitors' case management systems (Partner for Windows is an advantage).Hours:
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
