Successful FMCG business.
Leadership team with strong team engagement.
Outstanding product range with successful growth.
Opportunities for development within the HR structure.
Robust training program.
A busy FMCG manufacturing site needing an HR generalist to come in as HRBP and be a key player in the HR team. Lots of activity and variety and a great HR team within the business to work with, learn from and build relationships with at all levels.
This HRBP role is ideal for someone who has some generalist experience in ER, IR and recruitment. Ideally you would have experience in fast paced manufacturing environments, able to think and react at speed. Being able to reprioritise, because things change all the time, is vital as you never know what's coming round the corner in the food industry. In essence, you are 'unflappable' and enjoy a job where the days fly by.
The team around you and the wider HR team have extensive experience and if you are earlier in your career, that can make a real change in terms of your own personal development.
What else will be involved in the role?
Classic generalist HR activities as you would expect - grievances, disciplinaries.
Supporting and guiding line managers in conjunction with the senior HR team.
Support and work closely with the Senior HR Manager.
Working closely with the talent team on recruitment.
Contributing to the wider business HR teams.
What are the key requirements for this HRBP role?
A confident HR generalist with an open communication style.
Engaging, able to influence and guide managers on HR practice.
A multi-tasker who can keep an eye on the detail despite working at pace when plans change.
Full or part CIPD qualified.
An investigative nature.
Forward thinking, able to head off issues before they become issues!
Previous experience in fast paced environments.
A hands-on role that will suit HR generalists who can apply their knowledge and skills in a reactionary environment. Be able to see the grey areas with a progressive and inclusive style. In the longer term, there are future opportunities to progress your HR career so an ideal role for those looking for training in a structured environment with a strong HR professional for support and guidance.
