Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Teaching Assistant to join one of our welcoming partner schools in the Newport (NP area).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with children aged 3–5 years and wants to make a real difference in their early development.

Role Overview:

As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to:

Support children’s learning through play and structured activities
Help deliver engaging lessons that support early development and communication skills
Provide care and attention to ensure each child feels safe and supported
Encourage independence and confidence in every child
Support children with additional learning needs (ALN) when required

‍ About You:

We’d love to hear from you if you:

Have experience working with children in a nursery, EYFS, or early years setting
Are caring, patient, and enthusiastic about child development
Can build positive relationships with staff, parents, and children
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
