Mechanical Project/Design Engineer Opportunity – Leading Renewables Contractor - London

MK Search are working with a market leading renewables and decarbonisation M&E contractor who are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Project / Design Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to develop their technical and project experience within a supportive and professional environment. The company in question have recently won a variety of new contracts across London.

The Role

Working alongside experienced engineers and project teams, you will assist with the design, coordination, and delivery of decarbonisation on leisure, commercial, education and residential projects. The role offers exposure to both project and design work, with opportunities to build hands-on experience across a range of mechanical systems.

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

* A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering

* Approximately 1–2 years’ experience working with a mechanical contractor or design consultancy

* A basic understanding of HVAC systems

* Experience using CAD software (advantageous but not essential)

* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop

* The position is available for an immediate start

* We are also happy to consider candidates with a 1–2 month notice period
