? About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in the heavy engineering sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical or engineering background who enjoys hands-on testing, analysis, and continuous improvement in a production environment.

? Key Responsibilities

Conduct testing and validation of seals, bearings, and related components

Analyse test data and produce detailed reports on performance and durability

Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to improve product quality and reliability

Maintain and calibrate test rigs, instruments, and equipment

Ensure all testing is carried out in line with engineering standards and safety protocols

? What You'll Need

A strong engineering background, ideally within heavy industry or mechanical manufacturing

Experience with test engineering, quality assurance, or product validation

Good understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and failure analysis

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and reporting abilities
