Description

Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands effectively.
Monitor material requirements and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
Track inventory levels and ensure stock availability aligns with production needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address production and supply chain challenges.
Generate and analyse reports to optimise production and material planning processes.
Identify potential risks in the production schedule and propose solutions proactively.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the production environment.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives across the procurement and supply chain department.Profile

A successful Production & Materials Planner should have:

Previous experience in production planning/scheduling
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using planning tools (ERP/MRP)
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.

Annual salary of £36,000 - £40,000 per annum
