Lead AV Engineer

High End Residential AV

IN2-AV Recruitment is currently representing a market leading smart home and residential AV integrator, seeking an experienced Lead AV Engineer to join their growing London based team.

This role suits an engineer who enjoys taking ownership on site, leading installation teams and delivering fully commissioned, high performance smart home systems within super prime residential environments.

The Role

You will lead on the commissioning of high end residential AV and smart home projects, working both in the workshop and on site. The position combines hands on technical delivery with leadership, client interaction and close collaboration with project managers to ensure projects are completed to the highest standard.

Working hours are Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times.
Key Responsibilities • Programming, configuration and commissioning of smart home systems

• Wired and wireless network deployment
• Leading installation teams on site to maintain programme and quality
• Fault finding, snagging and final project close out
• Client handovers and user training alongside the PM team
• Occasional service and support visits when required

Required Experience Applicants must have experience working within high end residential projects and be confident operating independently on site.

Experience with some of the following systems is essential:

• Control systems such as Crestron, Crestron Home, Control4 or Savant
• Networking including Cisco, Ruckus, UniFi or DrayTek
• Lighting, shading and HVAC systems such as Lutron, KNX or Polarbear
• AV distribution including NVX, NAX or Wyrestorm
• Home cinema systems knowledge is highly desirable
• Awareness of 230V systems is beneficial but not essential
