A respected UK-based Acoustics and Environmental Consultancy is seeking a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join its expanding team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career in acoustics, supporting a wide variety of projects across the built environment, transport, and planning sectors.
Essential Criteria:
A degree (BSc or MSc) in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
Interest in environmental or building acoustics.
Strong communication, analytical, and report writing skills.
Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
A full UK driving licence.
Desirable Criteria:
Familiarity with acoustic standards such as BS4142, BS8233, or ProPG.
Awareness of acoustic software (e.g., CadnaA, SoundPLAN, Odeon).
Previous placement or internship experience in a related field.
The Role:
You'll support senior consultants with noise surveys, modelling, and report writing for projects across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and public sectors. You'll receive full training and mentoring to develop your technical capabilities and professional confidence in a supportive consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting in noise and vibration surveys.
Supporting acoustic modelling and analysis.
Preparing technical reports for planning and compliance.
Learning industry tools, standards, and regulations.
Attending site visits and team meetings.
