Role – CNC Machinist
Location – Based close to Long Stratton, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent or Permanent based position for the right candidate
Rate of pay – Up to £20.00 per hour

Our client is currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join their busy machine shop.
Candidates will need to have previous experience working in a similar position and will have the willing to learn new skills

Main duties will include –
• Setting, operating and programming multi-axis machining centre
• Complete multi-tool set ups
• Manual checks of components
• Compliance to all technical documentation
• Milling & Turning work to a high standard
• Prioritising jobs based on delivery dates and the needs of the business

Candidate attributes –

• A minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role with manufacturing/engineering knowledge
• Five years plus experience as a CNC setter/operator/programmer
• Experience in Fanuc programming
• Able to read technical drawings and produce work to drawing specifications
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Experience on lathe and milling machines
• Ability to work independently and as part of team
• Exceptional time management with the ability to meet critical deadlines
• Positive attitude and the desire to learn
