Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Milton Keynes

I'm currently supporting a well-established and fast-paced manufacturing site in Milton Keynes in their search for a Shift Engineer to join their Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, leading planned maintenance, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Location: Milton Keynes
Shift Pattern: 3 on / 3 off (Day shifts only, 38.5 hours per week)
Salary: £47,380 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver effective preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime

Ensure safe working practices and compliance with health and safety procedures

Maintain site facilities and lead improvement projects

Work closely with Production Managers to support operational performance

Develop engineering team capability through structured plans

Maintain accurate records of breakdowns, PPMs and stock levels

Support engineering-related audits and ensure legal compliance

Candidate Profile:

Experience working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment

Strong understanding of packaging and process equipment maintenance

18th Edition Electrical qualification

Effective communicator with strong leadership and problem-solving skills
