The Opportunity
We are representing a market-leading UK provider of cloud communications and connectivity. We are seeking a high-caliber Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive New Business acquisition within the mid-market enterprise sector.
This is a strategic "hunter" role focused on high-value digital transformations. You will manage the full sales lifecycle, converting cold prospects into long-term strategic partners.
Core Responsibilities
* Strategic Territory Growth: Identify and penetrate "new logo" accounts using a mix of self-generation and pre-qualified leads from our internal lead-gen engine.
* Consultative Solution Design: Conduct discovery sessions to architect tailored ecosystems across UCaaS (3CX/Zoom) and CCaaS (Five9).
* High-Value Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed monthly new business targets through disciplined pipeline management and executive-level closing.
* Executive Engagement: Navigate complex decision-making units to negotiate at C-suite and Director levels.
* Market Insight: Stay at the forefront of the UK PSTN switch-off and emerging cloud trends to position our solutions as industry-leading.
Key Competencies for Success
* Proven BDM Track Record: Significant experience in a New Business role within Telecommunications, SaaS, or Managed Services (MSP).
* Strategic Hunter Mindset: A disciplined approach to self-generating opportunities and a passion for winning mid-market deals.
* Advanced Sales Qualification: Expert questioning skills to map technical solutions to business ROI and budget timelines.
