School Cleaning Supervisor - Exeter - Immediate Start

Hours: 10am - 6pm Monday to Friday during School Term (some cover required)

Pay Rate: £14 - £14.45 per hour based on experience

Acorn by Synergie is seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to lead the cleaning team and ensure the school premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene to meet high standards.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cleaning professional with leadership skills who takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the daily activities of the cleaning team
Create and manage cleaning schedules and task allocations
Ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained
Conduct regular quality checks and inspections
Manage cleaning supplies and stock control
Provide training and guidance to team members
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
Liaise with site management regarding maintenance issuesWhat We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities role (supervisory experience preferred)
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Knowledge of health & safety and COSHH regulations
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to high standardsA DBS Enhanced check will be required - Acorn by Synergie will support with this.
