About Us

Veritas are working with a number of schools across Leeds who are looking for Early Years Support Workers to support 1:1 and in classroom. Some of the children are not accessing full-time education yet so the role will be part-time SEN support and part time in classroom support.

The Role

As an Early Years Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning, development, and well-being of children aged 0-5. You will work closely with early years practitioners and teaching staff to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities.
Foster a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
Build strong, supportive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their learning journeys.
Assist with care routines including mealtimes, toileting, and hygiene.
Support children with additional needs, ensuring they are fully included in all activities.About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about early childhood education and development
Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic
A team player with excellent communication skills
Reliable, flexible, and able to work on your own initiative Qualifications and Experience

Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting
A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Degree level or have specific childcare related qualification
