ROLE: Wireman
LOCATION: Leicester, LE5
HOURS: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am–4:15pm, Friday: 7:30am–12:30pm (some flexibility available)
PAY: £13.50–£15.00 per hour (depending on experience)
ASSIGNMENT: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and motivated Wireman to join Frontline REcruitment client’s manufacturing team based in Leicester, LE5. This hands-on role is essential in supporting the production of high-quality industrial load banks, focusing on wiring control panels and sub-assemblies to exact standards.

THE ROLE:

*

Wire control panels and sub-assemblies from general assembly drawings and wiring schematics

*

Carry out mechanical fitting including drilling, tapping, and punching

*

Install components and secure them with appropriate fixtures

*

Perform basic electrical testing and inspection

*

Wire between components accurately and safely

*

Liaise with internal teams to resolve build and design issues

THE REQUIREMENTS:

*

Experience in panel wiring and mechanical assembly

*

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

*

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams

*

Familiarity with hand tools, crimping, and power tools

*

Hold a recognised electrical qualification

*

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

*

Physically able to handle demanding tasks, including lifting

*

Good communication and teamwork skills
