Production Operative – Wood Manufacturing

Location: Upton-upon-Severn, WR8

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

Overtime Rate: £15.87 per hour (after 39 hours per week)

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to location

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established company based in Upton-upon-Severn (WR8). This is a hands-on role working with wood and offers a temp-to-perm opportunity, with a permanent contract available after a minimum of 12 weeks.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:45
Friday: 07:00 – 14:45
Key Responsibilities:

Working with wood in a production environment
Sawing, sanding, cutting, and assembling wooden components
Operating hand and power tools
Maintaining quality standards and safe working practices
Requirements:

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential due to location
Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
Skilled woodworking experience is an advantage
Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
