Customer Services / Sales Administrator

Monday to Friday - 8:00am – 4:45pm

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service/Sales Administrator to join our client based in Swindon.

The successful candidate will deliver outstanding customer service across all channels, support the sales process from enquiry to completion. This role includes proactive sales activity, including customer follow-ups and occasional client visits.

Key Responsibilities

* Process incoming orders, enquiries and customer issues to resolution

* Monitor and manage shared email inboxes across different departments

* Answer incoming phone calls, respond appropriately, and follow through with actions

* Assist with packing and dispatching product samples as needed

* Make outbound sales calls to follow up on quotes and approach new prospects

* Carry out other admin tasks and support colleagues when required

* Cross-cover responsibilities across the business once trained on the Orderwise system

Role Mission

* Build positive relationships with customers, always offering friendly and helpful service

* Keep customers satisfied and engaged through excellent service and proactive communication

* Support sales efforts through outbound follow-ups and upselling opportunities

* Contribute to a collaborative and positive working environment with the team

* Stay updated with current products and services to support customer interactions

* Ensure consistent communication with accounts, purchasing, and management for smooth operations

The Person

Essential:

* Minimum 1 year experience in customer service and sales

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* A proactive and positive ‘can-do’ attitude

* Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills

* Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with customers

* Team player with willingness to help across different tasks

Preferred:

* GCSE or equivalent education

* Familiarity with sales admin or order processing systems

* Based locally to Swindon or able to reliably commute
