Health & Safety Advisor – Urgent Hire

Location: Chesterfield (with UK travel) Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Bonus + Company Vehicle Benefits: Pension Scheme + 3 x Salary Death in Service + Career Development

Francesca’s Recruitment is urgently recruiting on behalf of a well‑established Health, Safety and Quality Management Consultancy based in Chesterfield. The company provides practical, hands‑on HSQ support to Clients across the UK within engineering, construction, manufacturing and service‑industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities

*

Conduct site visits, inspections and formal HSQ audits across Client sites.

*

Work proactively with Clients to drive continuous improvement in Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems.

*

Complete risk assessments and COSHH assessments.

*

Provide clear, practical advice on safe operational procedures.

*

Support Clients with accident and incident investigations.

*

Develop and deliver safety briefings and toolbox talks.

*

Maintain strong Client relationships and support new business development.

Requirements

*

Must have the Right to Work in the UK.

*

Must have UK-based Health & Safety experience.

*

NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).

*

Proactive, flexible approach when working with new and existing Clients.

*

Strong working knowledge of MS Office.

*

Previous HSQ experience within engineering, manufacturing or civil engineering.

*

Experience with CDM regulations is advantageous.

*

Full UK Driving Licence.
