Structural Engineer

Location: Leeds

We’re working with a well-established engineering consultancy in Leeds who are looking to add a Structural Engineer to their growing team. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, technically strong practice with a varied project portfolio across the UK.

The Role

As a Structural Engineer, you’ll be involved in the design and delivery of a range of building structures, working closely with senior engineers, technicians, and clients. Projects span residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use developments.

Key responsibilities include:

Structural design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

Producing calculations and technical reports

Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction

Liaising with architects, contractors, and other consultants

Ensuring designs comply with current UK standards and regulations

About You

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

3+ years’ UK consultancy experience (flexible for the right candidate)

Working knowledge of Eurocodes and UK building regulations

Experience with design software such as Tekla, TEDDS, Robot, or similar

Progress toward Chartership (ICE or IStructE) is highly desirable

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
