SEMH Teaching Assistant - Sunderland

Milk Education is looking to hire an SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partnered schools in Sunderland.

This is a role in a community focused school, which aims to provide an exciting, motivating and high quality education for every child in their care.

SEMH Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

* Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students
* Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
* Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate
* Deliver catch-up sessions

SEMH Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:

* Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.
* Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
