We are currently seeking an experienced Year 5 Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team from September 2025.
Role Overview:
As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a broad and engaging curriculum that builds on pupils' prior learning and prepares them for the transition into upper Key Stage 2. You will play a key role in developing pupils’ academic abilities, personal growth, and readiness for Year 6 and beyond. This role is ideal for a passionate and experienced teacher looking to contribute to a thriving learning community.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

Monitor and assess pupil progress to ensure all learners are supported and challenged appropriately
*
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes resilience, independence, and curiosity
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and support whole-school initiatives
*
Establish strong communication with parents and carers to support pupil development
*
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities and school events
We are looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5
*
A thorough understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment framework
*
A creative and reflective approach to teaching and learning
*
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
*
A team player who is committed to professional growth and high standards
*
Please note: this role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs)
