Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a passionate and creative Design Technology Teacher with a specialism in Cooking & Nutrition? Looking for your next full-time role in a well-supported secondary school in North London?
Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a dynamic secondary school in Islington to appoint a Full-Time DT Teacher specialising in Cooking & Nutrition, starting this Autumn Term. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking department that values creativity, practical learning, and student engagement.

As a DT Teacher with a focus on Cooking & Nutrition, you will:
* Deliver engaging and hands-on lessons in Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable)
* Plan and teach lessons that inspire creativity, promote healthy living, and develop practical life skills
* Prepare and maintain a safe, hygienic, and well-equipped learning environment
* Support students of all abilities and backgrounds to succeed in both the theoretical and practical elements of the subject
* Work collaboratively within the DT department and contribute to the wider school community

To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
* Subject specialism or experience in teaching Food Technology, Cooking, or Nutrition
* Strong understanding of the Design Technology curriculum and practical food safety
* A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
* Overseas Police Checks (if applicable) and professional references
* A CV covering the past 10 years of employment and education (where possible)
* The legal right to work in the UK
