The role – Behaviour Mentor
We are seeking a committed and resilient Behaviour Mentor to work closely with students across KS2–KS4 who present with SEMH and complex behavioural needs. You’ll provide targeted support, de-escalation, and 1:1 mentoring, helping students engage positively with their learning. You’ll also support classroom management and work collaboratively with teaching staff and the pastoral team. The ideal Behaviour Mentor must be confident, proactive, and passionate about supporting vulnerable young people.
The school – SEMH All Through School
This Ofsted Good SEMH school supports pupils aged 5–16 with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. With a small cohort of around 50 students in the secondary phase, the school offers a structured and nurturing environment with a strong emphasis on therapeutic support and behaviour intervention. The school is based in the London Borough of Wandsworth and is easily accessible via public transport and offers staff parking.
